Stephen Sumrall

Founder of Provident Ministries, Pastor of Christ Chapel Church

Steve Sumrall is the founder and president of Provident Ministries and Feeding The Nations, and the senior pastor of Christ Chapel Church.

Growing up on the mission field, he has lived in Israel, Hong Kong and the Philippines, ministering alongside his father, Dr. Lester Sumrall. He has achieved national and international recognition as a humanitarian, leader and pastor. He has taken relief to the hungry and hurting in over 75 nations, and has met with many heads of state.

Steve and his wife, Diane, were married in 1978 and have five beautiful children and nine beautiful grandchildren. He loves being a father to his children and grandfather to his grandchildren.

He has a balanced approach to ministry with an emphasis on steadfast faith in a rapidly changing world. The vision Stephen Sumrall and his wife Diane share is a mandate from God to bring hope and life-changing help to those in need, and to minister with compassion the love of Jesus Christ to all.

Josh & Rachelle Page-Wood

Co-director of Feeding The Nations, Detox Student Ministries

Josh has been on staff with Feeding The Nations and Provident Ministries since 2008. He has a bachelor of science from Michigan State University and proudly supports his Spartans. He is a licensed and ordained minister through the Provident Ministerial Network, and currently serves as the Student Ministries Pastor at Christ Chapel in South Bend, Indiana. Rachelle received her Secondary Ed teaching degree from Oral Roberts University. She is the worship director at Christ Chapel and coordinates the ministry tours to Israel. Josh and Rachelle have been married since 2005. Together they are the parents of two boys and a girl, and they’re excited about all that God has in store for them!

Leslie is the Children’s Director at Christ Chapel.  She has a heart to see children grow in Jesus and have fun when they come to church.  Leslie and her husband, Brad, are the proud parents of five children.

Gina Pozsgai

Feeding The Nations Administrative Assistant

Gina Pozsgai joined Provident Ministries and Feeding The Nations in 2005. She currently serves as the Administrative Assistant for Feeding The Nations.

Mike Vellner

Custodian

Michael Vellner has been serving the Lord for over 35 years and has been ordained as a minister since 1995. He and his wife, Marylin have three sons and six grandchildren. Mike’s gifting as a Bible teacher presently has him teaching at Westville State Prison and St. Joseph County Jail. He is also an instructor with Prison Fellowship Ministries holding seminars for the State Works Release System.  Mike works for Provident in the ministry of helps, as a custodian. He retired from a long custodial career with the school corporation.

Jerry Habig

Director of Provident Network

Jerry Habig is a Christian teacher, mentor, author, evangelist and Pastor of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.He studied and worked under Dr. Lester Sumrall and Dr. Stephen Sumrall.Jerry and Lynda have traveled extensively preaching the Gospel and are dedicated to introducing people to Jesus Christ.In his position as Director of Provident Network Jerry has been called a Pastor to Pastors.Provident Network is a place of accountability and fellowship for men and women called by God to minister His word to the people.
